"Never Stop Dreaming" Design Team creation for Dusty Attic and 49andMarket

Hello and a huge welcome back!
As promised I have my second layout designed for design teams 49andMarket and the Dusty Attic.

This is ....................."Never Stop DREAMING" I hope you enjoy it !!

My inspiration from this project grew from one sheet of paper in the Tattered Gardens collection, the Playground. Of course there are many beautiful pieces as with all of Janene’s collections, but this one I really gravitated to.
Tattered Playground – A
I used two sheets of Playground, using some of the B side for the layering of my photo.
Ok so I really love my chipboards and I have used a number of pieces some of the my older favourites and some new releases. I just couldn't decide on the colour for my chippies. It really was difficult but in the end I just threw my hands in the air and used them all. I had some previously dressed and decided that I would just use all of the Ornamental Trims. I have cut them and layered them amongst the layers of paper and flowers as you will see in the close-ups below.

Ornamental Trim Set DA1347

My background work was stencilled I promise. I used the Numbers Stencil below. You can see the 3 peeping through on this close-up above. I just go carried away with my embellishing that the stencilling are became less. Well that happens often but I really do like this stencil. Will be using it again.

I have also done some random stamping using Gabrielle's Crackle Stamp Set.

And I know I love my flowers but who could resist. I have used many collections to complete this project. I wanted it to be as pretty as my girl.
I have used lots of flowers here from the new release flowers of 49andMarket in many different colours. And I simply couldn't stop adding as you can see.
The flowers I have used are:
Vintage Shades Potpourri Orchid
BP-87063 Botanical Potpourri - Bottle Green
Botanical Potpourri – Bottle Green
Vintage Shades Botanical Orchid
Vintage Shades - Sage Blossoms
Vintage Shades – Sage Blossoms
Garden Seeds – Aloe
Floral Mixology – Purple Rain
And I also have some more close-ups for you below.

The French Flourish that you can see here above really is an old favourite. It is so elegant and very easy to use. I have layered this piece here with two other pieces of the Ornamental Trim. I just cut these pieces of chippies and tucked them into my flowers.

And how cute is the Watering Can. I love this  it is just the perfect addition to any floral layout I think. For this project I simply primed my piece with gesso and then I did some inking with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I also tucked in some DA branches.

Well that is all from me for today! I hope you enjoyed my project.
Until next time take care.

"Memories" 49andMarket Design Team Creation

Hello my dear friends !!
Today my post is being bought to you all the way from New Zealand and boy has it been a little chilly ! But it is such a beautiful country with so much to see.

Whilst we have been travelling from the south island and over to the north I have had a little time in between to complete this layout. As you can well imagine I couldn't bring a lot of scrapping bits with me, but what I have brought has been plenty to complete this.

I love this pic of my youngest and our boy Rafael, which you will have seen on many of my layouts. He is my right hand man and my shadow, and goodness I am missing him so much while I am away. My son tells me that both he and Gru (our other boy) have been waiting at our front gate since the day we left. Waiting for our return. I just can't wait to get back and give them both a big cuddle.
So until then scrapping a photo of Raf is the closest I am going to get!

And for this project I decided to keep everything very simple. I have used the Laser Cut Shapes from the Tattered Garden collection. They are just fabulous!!! The perfect accessory to bring on a travelling scrapping journey.  I have used two packs to complete my project. I have used the backer card from both packs. The first one was used as my background piece and the second one I fussy cut the leaves at the side. So yes I still did a little fussy cutting but not a great deal. Using the laser cut pieces are just so fabulously easy. Can't love them enough!! I also did a little stencilling using a Dusty Attic Stencil called "Chicken Wire".

I have also used a sheet of the Enchanted from the Rusty Autumn collection. I love greens and this was the perfect piece. I backed my background Backer Card with a couple of strips of the Enchanted either side. The remaining paper was used to mat my photo and I also tore a couple of pieces to add beneath my photo and matting at the base and top.

As you can see above I have used the wood panelling from the signage and cut these from both the laser sheets to add some dimension to my layout. These were layered up with a little 3D foam tape.

And from another view. Here you can see the fussy cut piece on the left from the Backer Card. It was just too pretty not to use and matched perfectly. I cut it in half and added in the clock from the cut-outs. And of course I have added lots of beautiful flowers. They are below for you

And again from another view. I have added in some little torn pieces of doily as well as lots of extras from the Laser Cut Sheet like the pretty butterflies the door and vines leaves.

Well that is all from me today. I so hope you like my post today. I will of course be back again tomorrow with one more 49andMarket project to share with you!!

"Love this MEMORY" Dusty Attic / Maja Design / Shimmerz Paints / 49andMarket

Hello and welcome back. Today I am back to share with you to share  my Dusty Attic moodboard interpretation for this month.

And this is my project inspired by the board. I saw the square at the bottom left of the moodboard and took it from there. This is "Love this MEMORY"....

The Dusty Attic Moodboard below is the current challenge for March. You still have till the end of the month to enter if you so wish. Just remember to use some Dusty Attic products in your project and take inspiration from the board. You can be in the running to win some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboards.............

I started my project off by priming papers from Maja Designs Vintage Spring Basics collection. I have used the spotted blue piece for my background and did some stencilling using the Lattice stencil and Dusty Attic texture paste.

5th of April

I also did a lot of colouring using Pasteez and Spritz's. After I did the stencilling and it dried I mixed some See you in the Mornin' Dazzlerz with a spritzing of water and built up a palette knife with the mix and spread it like butter across the textured stencilling. It is just a divine colour love it!

Dazzlerz - Sea U in the Mornin'

I left it for a bit to dry and then did some spritzing with my fave colour in the Shimmerz Spritz collection of Chance of Rain. I have also coloured some of my flowers and sea shells with this and the Dazzlerz to bring the layout together.

Spritz - Chance of Rain (NEW)

Below you can see that I have also added these colours to my chipboards over the white gesso and crackle. These colours are just beautiful. I wish I could use them every day of the week.

These were used to frame my photo and paper mattings. They were firstly Crackled in a white and then coloured randomly. They were cut to fit around my frame and clusters as you can see below.

I have also used another new release for this project. The title "love this MEMORY". This was dressed in white acrylic and for the larger alphas I coloured them in the green and blue. They were all treated with a touch of Star Dust Stickles to make it pretty!!

Above you can see the coloured title and the textures made using Dusty Attics Texture Paste.

And above and below the chipboards I have used. The Baroque Corners are a huge favourite of mine. I have placed these back to back and then clustered my 49andMarket flowers and shells in the centre.
I have so many different collection of the 49andMarket flowers on this! Below I will try and list them all:

Floral Mixology Pina Colada

Below you can see the chains. I love to layer as you can see. I broke the chains into pieces and glued them in such a way that it looks like the chain is going through the whole project.

I have also used the mini ships wheel in my clusters. These are so cute and a great little chippie for the extra embellishment of clusters.

Well that is all from me today. I hope you have enjoyed visiting and my project. Until next time take care and happy crafting.
